The ENDFGM Alliance
The End FGM Alliance is a network of individuals, government, media organisations, Non-Governmental Organisations and community leaders working together to end Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting in Nigeria by enhancing public knowledge on FGM/C, the laws that protect women and girls from FGM/Cand promoting the enforcement of FGM/Claws and policies at all levels. The strength of the alliance is its ability to advocate and build partnerships to end FGM/C in Nigeria. The Alliances serves as a medium for different stakeholders to
- Improve their capacity on advocating for ending FGM/C
- Share resources on ending FGM/C
- Engage and interact with other stakeholders as a community of practice
- Share learning experiences to improve advocacy efforts on ending FGM/C
